The Professional Standards Network Inter-Denomination NSW and ACT

The Office for Safeguarding - Diocese of Parramatta, is a Network Member of the Professional Standards Network Inter-Denomination NSW and ACT and meets regularly to discuss best practice in the Royal Commission Recommendations, to be briefed by specialists in the fields of NSW Ombudsman, Child Protection, Child Safe Organisation implementation and receive updates on professional development training for church leaders and laity. It provides a forum and a network to discuss what challenges are being faced by religious institutions in this space and to share resources and services.
